Welcome to Keuka College

A message from Executive Vice President Carolanne Marquis

Carolanne MarquisI have some great news: Keuka does not require standardized test scores for admission.  Many students prefer that we evaluate them by accomplishments other than just how well they did on a test.  This means that in your application to us, you can help shape how we evaluate you for admission and scholarship opportunities.  Admission to Keuka College is still selective, but we've freed you from restrictions.

We are a small, private college in New York state's Finger Lakes region, halfway between Ithaca and Rochester.  We have more than 1,000 students on campus, taught by 65 faculty members.  The closeness and the family feeling here is one of the best things about Keuka.  We provide small classes and individual attention that students need to succeed in college and beyond.

Do you like to try things out for yourself?  If so, I think you’ll love the Keuka Field Period. Field Period is a month-long internship or active learning experience every year of your college education.  Your Field Periods can take you anywhere: to laboratories, clinics, businesses, precincts; around the corner, around the county, or around the globe.

It’s part of what makes Keuka the national leader in experiential, hands-on learning. It’s also why 98 percent of our graduates report finding jobs or enrolling in graduate school within six to nine months of graduation. Fifty-four percent of Keuka graduates say they were offered a job from a site where they had conducted a Field Period, and 20 percent report being employed at a former Field Period site.

Would you like lots of choices for what you could study? We offer 33 majors to earn your bachelor’s degree, and also give you the chance to design your own major. Even outside your major, there are great courses to take no matter what your interests are.

If that sounds good to you, why not call 1-800-33-KEUKA or and arrange for a visit? We’ll set you up with your personal tour guide, arrange for a chat with an admissions representative and a financial aid counselor, and perhaps even have you speak with some of our faculty members and current students.

If you’ve read this far, you may want to fill out our on-line information request form to get some more information about the things in which you’re interested. Or, you can e-mail us with a specific question at admissions@mail.keuka.edu. Whenever you’re ready, you can also apply for admission on-line from this Web site.

I look forward to hearing from you.
