Prerequisite: MKT 220. This course studies the many ways that the Internet has changed how business is conducted in the U.S. and around the world. It introduces students to entirely new business models and new techniques of marketing and management that have altered the economic landscape. Topics covered include: the history of business on the Internet, integrating the Internet into traditional businesses, the changing world of marketing online, service management on the Internet, and managing virtual communities.
