Letters for St. Jude's Oct. 27

Up 'till Dawn, the Keuka College student organization that raises funds for, and awareness of, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, will conduct a letter-writing campaign Tuesday, Oct. 23, from 7:30-11 p.m. in Geiser Refectory.
The event will include a psychic fair, ghost stories, Bloody Trails (haunted rope course experience sponsored by the Teamworks! Club), food, and games.
Participants will be asked to write 35 letters apiece, asking people they know to donate to St. Jude's. Those writing at least 35 letters will be eligible to receive a Wii gaming system.
Last year, Keuka's Up 'till Dawn organization raised more than $13,555 and was one of seven student groups from around the country recognized with a $5,000 Jenzabar Foundation Student Leadership Award. This year, Keuka's Up 'till Dawn group hopes to raise more than $23,000 for St. Jude's and a relief trip to Memhis, Tenn., over spring break.
