Jensen-Jensen-Reagan-Robinson Repeat as Keuka College Golf Classic Champs

KEUKA PARK, N.Y.— The ninth renewal of the Keuka College Golf Classic was a carbon copy of  No. 8 and similar to No. 7.

 

The team of Roger Jensen, Scott Jensen, Kyle Reagan, and Josh Robinson won the event for the second straight year, firing a 56 in the scramble event. The Jensens and Reagan were members of the winning team in 2006

 

The foursome of Burt Stokes, Sherry Stokes, Mike O’Brien, and Chris O’Brien returned a 61 to win the mixed team title while Rich Portland, Matt Portland, Frank Strong, and Barbara Strong shot a 63 to win the senior division.

 

Robinson and Kim Lincoln won the longest drive competitions while Doug Lippincott, Paul Lee, Sherry Stokes, and Ann Tuttle won closest-to-the-pin prizes.

 

The tournament benefits the Deb Manahan Golf Classic Scholarship, which carries the name of the late Penn Yan resident, avid golfer and Keuka College benefactor. In its first eight years, the tournament raised some $115,000 for the scholarship, awarded annually to a Keuka matriculant from the Finger Lakes region.

Keuka College is the national leader in experiential, hands-on learning.
