Campus Clubs and Organizations

 

There are more than 30 different clubs and organizations on campus to suit your interest. All clubs have executive officers and an advisor. Each club is eligible to receive funding through the Student Association (Senate) as long as they conduct a campus wide events, a community service endeavor and a fund raiser.

Association of Future Social Workers (AFSW)
Members of this club share an interest in social work and host events about the topic.

 

American Sign Language Club (ASL)
Members of this club share an interest in ASL and host events about the topic.

 

BACCHUS and GAMMA
Members of this club educate the college community about alcohol and other drugs.

BAKU
Members of this club help educate the college community about
different cultures and multicultural affairs present on campus.

 

Campus Activities Board (CAB)
Members of this organization help plan and supervise activities on campus.

 

Class of 200*
Each class elects officers to help represent their class.

 

Council for Exceptional Children (CEC)/Special Education Club
Members of this club facilitate leadership, training and professional development
for members viewed to be the future of their profession.
(Education and other social service careers).

 

Criminal Justice Club
Members of this club share an interest in criminology and host campus events about the topic.

 

E-College-E Club
Members of this club share a special interest in issues pertaining to the
preservation of the environment.

 

Education Club
Members of this club help prepare future teachers by involving them in
professional organizations. This club also prepares future teachers by
hosting programs on campus and in the community.

 

Fishing Club
Members of this club share an interest in fishing and may prepare fishing excursions.

 

 Gamma Sigma United (Gay Straight Alliance)
Members of this club promote diversity and tolerance through programming initiatives and serve as a support group for the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community.

 

Gathering In Faith Together
Members of this club share a common interest in religion

 

College Newspaper (Keukonian)
Members of this club write articles and help publish the college newspaper.

 

College Yearbook (Kiondaga)
Members of this club help publish the college yearbook.

 

Outing Club
Members of this club participate in outdoor activities such as hiking and crewing.

 

Psychology Club
Members of this club share an interest in psychology and host campus events about the topic.

 

Peer Counselors
Members of this organization provide guidance for their fellow peers on campus.

 

Radio Station
Individuals interested in broadcasting participate in scheduled radio shows
on a regular basis on the college’s local radio station (107.3 FM).


Red Jacket

Students who have an interest in poetry, short stories and other literature pieces
help create this literary magazine.

Republicans
Students who have an interest in the Republican political party or
politics in general share an interest in this club.

 

Residence Hall Councils
Members of each residence hall provide a governing body to strengthen
the alliance between the residents and the residence life staff.

Rotaract
Members of this club participate in various community service projects that benefit both Keuka College as well at the Yates County Community.

Senate (Student Body Government)
Individuals interested in representing the student body share an interest in this organization.

 

Ski Club
Members of this club participate in trips to local ski resorts.

 

Student In Free Enterprise (SIFE)
This organization provides college students the best opportunity to make a difference
and to develop leadership, teamwork, and communication skills through learning,
practicing, and teaching the principles of free enterprise.

 

Student Occupational Therapy Association (SOTA)
Members of this club help facilitate communication between its members and the campus community to provide support and representation for the membership and to enrich the campus community experience through its activities

.

Symphonic Band
Members of this club share an interest in music and they conduct at least one
concert each semester.

 

TeamWorks! Club
Members of this club share an interest in learning more about experiential learning
via the Rope Course.

 

Wellness Educators
Members of this club help educate the college community about wellness topics.
