Classes in the organizational management program combine communication and business skills, preparing you for management positions in a variety of fields, ranging from health care to hospitality.

The organizational management program provides you with in-depth knowledge of, and experience with, the functional areas critical for managing in the 21st century: business law, ethics, accounting, economics, finance, human resources, marketing and public relations, information technology, project management, and strategic planning.

Your professors will help you learn to effectively manage people and resources, fine-tune your verbal and written communication skills, and hone your decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

Digital Literacy

Technology powers today’s business world. As an organizational management student, you’ll receive constant hands-on experience with the most recent and up-to-date tools used by professionals across every industry. At Keuka College, you’ll not only learn to use today’s software and digital tools, but to understand how and why they work the way they do. This means you’ll learn the language of business so that you’ll seldom have a problem adapting to new technology, software, or digital tools.

From using Excel to perform a linear regression analysis that predicts your customer’s buying behaviors to writing simple, time-saving software using the Python™ programming language, you’ll graduate from Keuka College’s organizational management program with some of today’s most in-demand skills for mid- and senior-level management positions.

Global Education

Every course you’ll take is taught from the perspective of today’s business world, one that’s more global than it’s ever been. The organizational management faculty continually update courses to capture the latest trends and prepare you for the 21st century’s global business environment. You’ll graduate with a firm grasp of global marketing and finance—two key skills for anyone in a management role at a multinational organization.

In addition, Keuka College offers business programs at partner universities in China and Vietnam. These programs are taught by the College’s American faculty, and many professors rotate through teaching at the home campus, in off-campus programs designed for adults, and overseas. Your professors will come to the classroom with an unparalleled perspective on, and experience with, some of the world’s fastest-growing economies and the educational and business philosophies taught in Asia’s universities.

In addition to Keuka College’s institutional accreditation by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, the College has received specialized accreditation for its business programs through the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE), located at 11374 Strang Line Road, Lenexa, Kansas, USA.

Accreditation in China

The Keuka-China international relationship has the official approval of the Office of Academic Degrees Committee for the State Council in the People’s Republic of China.

Keuka College’s programs in China follow the rules and regulations of the Ministry of Education, People’s Republic of China. KCP provides the same degree and is accredited in the same way as Keuka College programs in the U.S. The bachelor of science in management degree is accredited by the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE).

Experiential Learning

As a working professional in the organizational management program, you’ll be able to apply what you learn in the classroom at work the very next day. Many of your classes will include guest speakers, who are executives from some of the region’s top employers and organizations.

In some cases, instructors will partner with small businesses and non-profit organizations near you, providing you and your cohort the opportunity to solve real-world business problems, develop actual marketing plans, and assist with new product launches.

Your organizational management program culminates with the Capstone Experiential Portfolio (CEP), a project you’ll work on throughout your entire program. The CEP serves as your own personal record of the insights you gain throughout the program, and builds value in your personal and professional life by outlining how you’ll apply this new knowledge to your career path.
