As the chief academic officer of the College, the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs provides leadership for all academic programs in support of the College's mission and ensures academic excellence.
The vice president for academic affairs also has responsibility for those offices that support the academic success of students.
Other responsibilities include the development, review, and implementation of academic policies and procedures; assessment; budgeting for academic programs; and faculty personnel actions, including re-appointment, promotion, and tenure.
In these responsibilities, the vice president for academic affairs is ably assisted by the associate provost for academic innovation.
The provost and vice president for academic affairs is Bradley Fuster, DMA, professor of music. The associate provost for academic innovation is Tim Sellers, Ph.D., professor of biology and environmental science.
