As the chief academic officer of the College, the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs provides leadership for all academic programs in support of the College's mission and ensures academic excellence.
The vice president for academic affairs also has responsibility for those offices that support student success: the Registrar, Lightner Library, the Center for Experiential Learning, Wertman Office of Digital Education, Institutional Research and Effectiveness, and the Academic Success at Keuka (ASK) Program.
Other responsibilities include the development, review, and implementation of academic policies and procedures; assessment; budgeting for academic programs; and faculty personnel actions, including re-appointment, promotion, and tenure.
In these responsibilities, the vice president for academic affairs is ably assisted by the associate provost for academic innovation.
The provost and vice president for academic affairs is Paul Forestell, Ph.D., professor of psychology. The associate provost for academic innovation is Tim Sellers, Ph.D., professor of biology and environmental science.
It is the mission of Academic Affairs to provide an exceptional educational experience to the undergraduate and graduate students of Keuka College.
