Please see the message below from Jamyra Young, Director of Intercultural Affairs regarding information about international students:
Since the College will transition to online-only delivery of instruction starting March 30, I wanted to provide some essential information specifically for international students to ensure you have all the information you need to remain an active F1 student at Keuka College.
Travel: You're permitted to travel for Spring Break as you previously planned. International travel is currently being discouraged, but if you are traveling out of the country, you must notify Cindy Christie via email at [email protected] or by calling (315) 279-5368 and ensure that you have your travel section on your I20 signed as usual.
Staying on campus: If you are interested in staying on campus for Spring Break (March 13-29), please complete this form as soon as possible! Remember, meals are not typically available for Spring Break and may be limited afterwards. Please plan accordingly and let me know if you need any assistance with food accommodations.
Returning to campus: You will be required to return to campus and live in your room while taking online classes, starting March 30, and you must complete this form to report when you will be returning. You may be subject to COVID-19 testing and/or quarantine when you return. We will make every effort to accommodate your needs, but please be aware that services such as dining may be reduced to limit large gatherings.
Online Courses: Starting March 30, the College will offer all classes online, meaning you will not meet in classrooms for any of your classes. The College is not closing. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has relaxed regulations to allow international students to take more than one online course as Colleges change the instruction procedures. Remember, in order to maintain active F1 status you should continue to follow these guidelines.
Updated Information: The College is constantly providing updated information on our website here.
Please feel free to reach out to me via email, call, or text message with any questions, comments or concerns you may have.
