What's happening at Keuka College?

Keuka College to Issue Day O’Giving Challenge March 17

This year, St. Patrick’s Day will have a special meaning at Keuka College—on that day, the College will issue the $50K for $50K Day O’Giving Challenge.

The $50K for $50K Day O’Giving Challenge begins Friday, March 17 at 12:01 a.m. and ends at midnight. With the help of the Keuka College community, students, staff, faculty, and alumni, we hope to reach our goal of raising $50,000 in 24 hours.

In memory of Cheryl Haynes Turner ’04 and Gladys Bush Turner ’26, the William W. Turner Family has generously agreed to match the goal of $50,000 in endowed scholarship funds. This could mean $100,000 in support of Keuka College in just one day.

The Day O’Giving is an innovative online fundraising initiative to celebrate Keuka College and foster a culture of philanthropy. The primary goal of this event is to collect money for the Keuka College annual fund, which is used to bridge the gap between tuition and operating expenses and helps ensure our students have the best educational experience possible. This is also an opportunity to boost participation in a collective effort to showcase that we Believe in What We Can Do Together.

Whether you have been giving to Keuka College’s Keuka Fund for 40 years, or you're considering making a first-time contribution, every dollar counts—regardless of amount.

And with your donation, you are helping to ensure the College keeps its promise to its students—that the College will create exemplary citizens to serve the nation and the world in the 21st century.

Each year Keuka College awards more than $11 million in grants and scholarships and is able to assist more than 98 percent of students with the cost of their college education. In addition to the standard federal and state programs available to most students, Keuka College offers many grants and scholarships.

It is only because of generous donors like you that Keuka College is able to make its innovative, private education affordable. Will you take the Keuka College $50K for $50K Day O’Giving Challenge to raise $50,000 in 24 hours on March 17? We can’t do this without you.

Help ensure the continued success of Keuka College and its students by making your $50K for $50K Day O’ Giving gift online, calling (315) 279-5366, or emailing [email protected].
