Dr. Beth Jordan began her career in occupational therapy in 1989 after graduating from Herkimer County Community College as an occupational therapy assistant (OTA). While working as an OTA, Dr. Jordan returned to college graduating from Utica College in 2006 with a BS in Health Studies and in 2007 earned a MS in occupational therapy. In 2011 she graduated from Chatham University with clinical occupational therapy doctoral degree. Dr. Jordan has worked in varying settings; however, her area of expertise is working with young children with sensory processing challenges. Before coming to Keuka College in 2016, Dr. Jordan owned and operated a pediatric therapy clinic, On The Move OT, was an adjunct instructor at Utica College and a full-time Professor of Practice at LeMoyne College. Research interests include sensory processing, anxiety and behavioral challenges in young children.
