The Keuka College community will have the chance to hear from some of the College’s standout faculty members when this semester’s STAR Faculty Panel is held on Wednesday, Oct. 14, at 4 p.m. in the Hawkins Lounge of the Dahlstrom Student Center.

Sponsored by the College’s Faculty Development Committee, the panel is an opportunity for the College community to learn a little more about select instructors, including their teaching methods and their experiences in and out of the classroom. Audience members will also have the opportunity to submit questions.

Taking part in next week’s panel will be:

Assistant Professor of Adolescent Education Dr. Gordon Brown, winner of the FDC’s Academic Advising Award.

Instructor of Biology Jessica Katolik, winner of the Excellence in Experiential Learning Award.

Instructor of Social Work Tracey Leet, winner of the Excellence in Academic Achievement Award.

Instructor of Mathematics Jack Westbrook, winner of the Excellence in Teaching Award.

STAR Faculty Panelists are selected each semester by their peers for excellence in experiential learning and academic achievement.

The forum will be moderated by Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Heather Maldonaldo, and the College community is encouraged to attend.
