Digital Imaging & Mail Center

The Keuka College mailroom is located in Room 115 of Strong Hall and is open from noon-3 p.m., Monday-Friday. The mailroom is closed on holidays and snow days that are recognized by the College. 

Students who have mail will receive an emailed notification from the mailroom, including a photo of the parcel. The notice will be sent daily until the item is picked up. All packages must be picked up within seven days of arrival. Students must show identification to pick up their mail (College ID, driver’s license, or passport).

Your full name as it is registered with the College must be on the envelope or package. Mail addressed to a nickname, a first name only, or parents’ names will be refused as undeliverable. All packages received for a student in care of the College must be retrieved from the mailroom within one week of arrival, or they will be returned to sender. Please contact the mailroom at (315) 279-5233 to discuss any extenuating circumstances.

Perishable packages not picked up within 24 hours of delivery may be refused and/or discarded. The mailroom is not responsible for refrigerated or perishable items.

The mailroom does not accept alcohol, as the delivery requires a signature and the mailroom is student-managed.

Packages from Amazon, USPS, UPS, and FedEx will be accepted, as well as any USPS personal mail. The mailroom does not accept business mail for students such as credit card statements, car registrations, invoices, or EZ pass statements, as the College is a business address.

The mailroom does not accept mail that is either permanently or temporarily forwarded from another address for a student, as this is not a residential address.

We do not accept packages for outside vendors or individuals.

If you wish to receive business mail, you will need to open a PO Box at the local post office, which is behind Keuka Commons on Assembly Avenue. You can do this in person or online.

Staff and Faculty 

Staff and faculty mail is received in the basement of Strong Hall and is delivered departmentally on weekdays after 10:30 a.m. Any packages too large for the mailbox are sent to the mailroom (Room 115, Strong Hall), and are available for pickup daily between noon and 3 p.m.

Outgoing mail and packages should be labeled with the departmental account number and brought to the Digital Imaging and Mail Center in the basement of Strong Hall. 

We do not accept packages for outside vendors or individuals.

Mail is picked up from departments when the daily mail delivery is made by work-study students. If there are packages or large amounts of mail, please bring them to the Digital Imaging and Print Center in the basement of Strong Hall for postage processing. Please put the department charge-back account number on the upper left-hand portion of the envelope or each stack for mail metering. All mail should be UNNESTED, flaps down for mail machine. 

Sealed and unsealed envelopes should be separated, as well as any international or special services items.
 

The mailroom is not responsible for keeping refrigerated or perishable items cold. It is the student’s responsibility to pick up the package within 24 hours or the package may be refused and returned to the sender. Any leaking or spoiled packages will be refused or discarded.
