The Board of Commissioners of the International Accreditation Council for Business Education has renewed its accreditation of Keuka College’s Division of Business and Management programs.

In announcing the accreditation following its July meetings in Minneapolis, the IACBE lauded the Division’s “commitment to continuous improvement, excellence in business education, and advancing academic quality in its business programs and operations.” It also cited “rigorous self-evaluation,” and “comprehensive, independent peer review.”

“We are very proud that all of the programs within the Division of Business and Management, both domestically and internationally, were reaffirmed for accreditation by the IACBE,” said Ann Tuttle, chair of the Keuka College Division of Business and Management. “The accreditation process is a monumental effort taken on by many individuals throughout the college community, and I could not be more proud of their efforts.”

The accreditation was accompanied by several commendations. The Division was praised for its strong leadership; for the review process for the faculty that includes a comprehensive evaluation; and for involving faculty in meetings with architects for the design of Keuka Commons, so that members could provide input.

The College will be recognized for again achieving accreditation at the 2018 IACBE Annual Conference and Assembly Meeting next spring in New Orleans.

The IACBE was founded in 1997 and is nationally recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
