What to Do If...
You testED positive with an AT-home kit
- Notify your county’s health department. Check the department’s website for additional information.
- All students, employees, and vendors should contact the Health Center at (315) 279-5368 or [email protected] to report any positive COVID-19 test. HR will contact employees with additional instruction after the report is made to the Health Center.
- Follow isolation and quarantine instructions as provided.

Students who are currently enrolled in a Field Period®, fieldwork, or student teaching should also contact their site supervisor and their academic advisor.
You’re Not Feeling Well
- Avoid contact with others.
- Tell your RA immediately and either call the Health and Counseling Center 315-279-5368 or email [email protected].
- The Health and Counseling Center will assist you in making an appointment or referral.
- If you are experiencing an emergency seek medical help immediately.
You’ve Been Tested But Do Not Have the Results Yet
- Tell your RA immediately and either call the Health and Counseling Center 315-279-5368 or email [email protected].
- Remain in your room, avoid contact with others and wear your mask in the hallway/bathroom.
- The Health and Counseling Center will be in contact with directions on what to do next.
- Maintain all public safety practices when outside your room including wearing your mask, maintaining social distance, washing your hands, and cleaning before and after use of public restrooms. (Door handles, sink faucets, etc.)
Your Test Result is POSITIVE
- Tell your RA immediately and email either call the Health and Counseling Center 315-279-5368 or email [email protected].
- Remain in your room, do not go to class, do not have contact with others and wear your mask in the hallway/ bathroom.
- The Health and Counseling Center will be in contact with directions on what to do next to isolate yourself from others.
You've Been Told to Quarantine
- Tell your RA immediately and either call the Health and Counseling Center 315-279-5368 or email [email protected].
- Remain in your room, do not go to class, wear your mask in the hallway/ bathroom.
- The Health and Counseling Center will be in contact with directions on where to quarantine.
- Maintain all public-safety practices when outside your room including wearing your mask, maintaining social distance, washing your hands, and cleaning before and after use of public restrooms. (Door handles, sink faucets, etc.)
