Keuka College Campus Hazing Transparency Report
In compliance with the federal Stop Campus Hazing Act (H.R. 5646) and as part of Keuka College's commitment to maintaining a safe campus environment, this transparency report provides information about hazing violations involving student organizations, athletic teams, and living groups.
Legal Requirements and Reporting Standards
Keuka College maintains and publicly reports findings of hazing violations by any student organization, athletic team, or living group. This report includes any violations of our code of conduct, anti-hazing policies, or state and federal laws relating to hazing or offenses related to alcohol, drugs, sexual assault, or physical assault.
Each reported violation includes:
- The name of the student organization, athletic team, or living group
- The date the investigation was initiated
- The date on which the investigation ended with a finding that a violation occurred
- A description of the incident(s), including the date of the initial violation, findings, and sanctions
- The details of sanctions imposed, including beginning and end dates
- The date the organization was charged with a violation
All hazing violations are maintained in this public report for at least five years from the date of the incident.
