If your sights are set on a competitive position among the world’s financial leaders, you need sound fiscal training to chart a growth plan with confidence. Whether you aspire to work for a traditional lending firm, get involved in launching a startup with alternative funding, recruit capital investors, or become a financial consultant or counselor, you’ll need a solid foundation in the fine arts of negotiation, brokering investments, and money management. Our Finance minor can prepare you for a future in banking, lending, investments, and international trade. Digital Literacy

Many of today’s digital tools will be brought to life as you learn to use numerous software platforms and computer simulations to learn specifics in the field of finance. Enhance your fiscal savvy to prepare today to solve the problems of tomorrow in a global, digital marketplace. Learn the basics of coding, digital design, digital storytelling, and mapping, to enter the job market or go on to graduate study with the skills of a 21st century professional.

Global Education

In today’s global economy, a purchase or investment made in one country can carry international impact far beyond the domestic border. You’ll need to know the essentials of international business and finance, the basics of global reporting standards, and how to build for business success beyond the local region to locations around the world. Keuka College is uniquely suited to prepare you for the international business arena, thanks to the business programs we offer at partner universities in China and Vietnam. These programs are taught by Keuka College faculty. The professors rotate as instructors at the home campus, in off-campus programs designed for adults, and overseas. Your professors will come to the classroom with an unparalleled perspective on some of the world’s fastest-growing economies, and the educational and business philosophies taught in Asia’s universities. Students may choose to study abroad or conduct a Field Period® with one of our international educational partners. Special scholarships are available for study-abroad or Field Period® opportunities.

Facilities

The Division of Business and Management is housed in our new Keuka Commons building and features a finance lab and the Center for Business Analytics and Health Informatics. These new, state-of-the-art classrooms are interactive and well-suited for learning the theory and practice of finance.

VITA Center

Serve members of the local community through tax-preparation services each spring in the College’s own Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. Become IRS-certified as a student and gain years of experience in a much-needed business skill well before graduation.

Accreditation

In addition to Keuka College’s institutional accreditation by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, the College has received specialized accreditation for its business programs through the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE). Ann Tuttle, professor of management at Keuka College, currently serves as chair of the accrediting body. Prior to her election in 2016, she served as chair in 2010, and vice chair in 2009 and 2015. Professor Tuttle has served on Keuka College’s faculty since 1998. The business programs in the following degrees are accredited by the IACBE:
